  • 1981First collections

    In 1981 the owner Klaus Mischon started his business by collecting used textiles with simple street collections.
  • 1993First textile banks

    Around 1990 the first company owned textile banks were installed and by that a new basis for further growth was founded.
  • 1999The first own sorting facility

    Right before the new millenium the first sorting facility was built in Germersheim, Rhineland-Palatinate. At first it comprised approx. 3.000m² and in the following years it was expanded to approx. 10.000m² in total.
  • 2004Rebranding to Remitex GmbH

    Due to further growth, the company had to be restructured and was therefore transformed into the now existing Remitex GmbH. Remitex stands for Recycling Mischon Textilies.
  • 2017Relocation to new sorting facility and warehouse in Philippsburg

    After completion of the second sorting facility in Philippsburg-Huttenheim in 2013 - which comprised approx. 5.000m² - and expansion to approx. 10.000m² in 2017, all sorting and nearly all stock activities were relocated to Huttenheim.
