About us<\/h1>\n

The Klaus Mischon Textilrecycling Company was founded over thirty years ago and was renamed Remitex GmbH on 1 January 2004.<\/p>\n

Company owner Klaus Mischon started the company up in 1981 with kerbside collections. Before long, a used-textile sorting operation was added to the regular collecting activities.<\/p>\n

In addition to the kerbside collections, textile banks are also provided as drop-off points for discarded clothing and textiles. For more information on our collections and textile banks, click on Services –> Collection<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nowadays, a wide range of charity organisations avail of our competence, among them the Red Cross, the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund, town councils and local communities within a radius of more than 100 km around our premises.<\/p>\n

Our fleet of 17 vehicles and workforce of approximately 190 employees guarantee optimal operation of the over 1,300 containers. On a production and sales floor-space of some 20,000 m\u00b2, millions of garments are processed and recycled.<\/p>\n

Remitex GmbH is the leading textile recycling company in the Rhineland-Palatinate and western Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg region.
